Pertussis
Pertussis, commonly called whooping cough, is an acute respiratory infectious disease caused by bordetella pertussis. Symptoms are severe coughing fits with deep breaths resulting in a “whooping” sound. The coughing stage lasts about 100 days, so it also called 100d days’ cough. This disease is highly contagious.
