Plague

    Plague is a natural focus infectious disease caused by Yersinia pestis. It mainly affects wild rodents, and is spread from one rodent to another by fleas. People who are bitten by fleas will catch plague. Infected people will initially get bubonic plague and then will develop pneumonic plague, which is then transmissible among persons through droplets.

    This database of plague included all data since the initiation of network reporting system, which are number of cases, incidence, death cases and mortality by region, age group, profession and disease entity.
