Division of National Administrative Region in Infectious Disease Reporting System
Under the guidance of China CDC, the Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System was developed and was came into use in 1 Jan 2004. This system is responsible for reporting the case of infectious disease, sudden public health events, cause of death registration, planned immunity, and health risk factors.
In addition, basic encoding platform was developed to sustain the normal operation of the system. This platform encode all administrative regions and reporting institute to realize unified management for the whole system.
Infectious Disease Network Reporting System was based on population data released by State Statistics Bureau.
This database collected all population (including permanent resident population and registered population) data by gender and age group.
