Data of Survey of Adolescents Health Risk Behavior
Health Risk Behavior includes unhealthy eating and lifestyle habits, unintentional injury, intentional injury, substance abuse, psychological addition, and dangerous behavior, which impaired adolescents’ mental and physical health, decreased life quality and jeopardize society.
In order to deal with the condition that China solve adolescents’ problems passively, in 2005m a questionnaire survey was conducted in 18 provinces and cities and 329 surveillance schools, targeting at about 224 thousand young people between 12-23 with 122 variables.
This database has two main roles: 1 serve for governments, social services and so on to know more about young people’s behavior, make intervention strateg; 2 provide scientific guidance for health education in schools.
