Epidemic Encephalitis B
It is an infectious disease caused by mosquitoes with encephalitis B virus, which could induce high mortality and morbidity among children. Epidemic of this disease occurs in summer and the geographical distribution is related with the distribution of mosquitoes. Between 60s and 70s in 20th, there was an pandemic of epidemic encephalitis B in China. After 70s, with the widespread vaccination, the prevalence was declining obviously.
