Schistosomiasis

    Schistosomiasis is a type of infection caused by parasites that live in fresh water, such as rivers or lakes, in subtropical and tropical regions worldwide. It is prevalent in 75 countries. 625 million people were in the risk of being infected and 193million people were infected.

    This database of Schistosomiasis included all data since the initiation of network reporting system, which are number of cases, incidence, death cases and mortality by region, age group, profession and disease entity.
